Mathactive was founded by Dr. Vanessa Long (Ph.D. in Computer Science) and Dr. Jasper Scholten (Ph.D. in Mathematics). Both Vanessa and Jasper have strong interest in intellectual development of children and young adults.

Vanessa manages the day-to-day operation at Mathactive. She is responsible for developing teaching materials and assessing students' performance. She teaches some classes in mathematics, English and science at primary school levels.

Jasper coaches mathematic groups at higher levels. He also provides advice, technical support and quality assurance to Mathactive.

Other teaching staff are qualified teachers who are passionate about helping students to improve educational outcomes by building solid academic foundations.
